The History of Pet Keeping
The history of pet keeping goes far back in history, maybe back to the cave man age. Archaeologists suggest that dogs may have been pets as far back as 12.000 years. Just pets or maybe, like today, kept for hunting and personal protection. This is my first article on the history behind pet keeping starting as far back as is known about this subject. More evolution of pets also retreats back to the era some 12,000 years ago. Animals as pets used for food, clothing, transportation, herding and even for religious worship along with personal companionship. This is my second article about pets. MY PETS!
I have had pets, both dogs and cats, and the occasional rabbit or parakeet when I was young, all my life as far back as I can remember.
I used to love chihuahuas when I was little. Maybe that was because they were always small. But grown to enjoy bigger dogs as I get older. Could be the protection and companionship. For whatever reason, I now have three. And they can be great company for me and fun too.
