My Job Led Me to Vape
Back then I was dealing poker full time in a casino in northern Mississippi. Our room was non smoking but e-cigs were allowed because they were the new thing and they really didn’t bother the other players. I had this one player every day playing in my room and smoking e-cigs. So of course knowing of my health issues, he approached me with the idea of trying e-cigs. It turned out he was a distributor for our area.
So he set me up with what I needed and I began to smoke e-cigs regularly. Amazingly I really took to them and in only three weeks I quit REAL cigarettes for good. I remember carrying a pack of them for about a month before I gave them away.
And I realized real quick that I felt better and was breathing easier than I had in years. This also made my doctor happy too. It got him off my back lol. And I was not craving a real cigarette either. I truly believe that e-cigs and vaping saved my life.
Bigger and Better Vape
So as the years have gone by, new companies and bigger and better ways to vape have come along. I went from the e-cigs to the pen size that I hung around my neck or carried in my shirt pocket. And I stayed with those for several years. They kept getting bigger and I moved along the transition with them.
I kept seeing others with the big MODS and blowing these huge clouds out of their lungs but I’m not really impressed. At that time I was happy with what I used. They satisfied me and any cravings I had too. And I had been lowering my nicotine % until near the lowest without going to no nicotine.

The only problem I had was the charge ran down so fast that I had to keep them on charge continuously and carry extras with me when I was away from home. So I stopped in to my favorite vape store one day and had them show me some Mods and explain them to me for I knew nothing about them. I was sold when I heard the batteries lasted so long between charges depending on how much wattage was used. And I knew my wattage would be lower than most. Because I didn’t want to blow big clouds. I quickly found that the flavor was better with a mod also.
I still don’t know all the specifics on Mods like a lot of users do. They put me to shame spouting out all the numbers and specifications. But that’s alright, I really enjoy mine.
